| The Fashion Maven Gala-worthy silk brocades and silk dupionis assure that you will turn heads while wearing these slings! Silk brocades Our silk-rayon brocades are truly gorgeous, and will really get you both noticed! A full swath of the brocade envelopes you and your child, both front and back, and it is as comfortable as it is eye-catching. We use the highest silk content possible in our silk brocades, not cheaper 100% polyester or 100% rayon brocades. Silk dupionis Our silk dupionis are 100% raw silk, available in lovely, shimmery hues. These super-light, yet strong silks are our perhaps our most comfortable fabrics, besides the stretch fabrics. They're great is great for fancy outings, yet just subtle enough for everyday wear. This compact sling folds up into practically nothing when not in use! Please note that the photos don't do these fabrics justice! To see how vibrant the colours are, and to feel the fabrics, contact a local retailer to see if they've stocked what you're looking for. Care: Hand-wash, dry clean, or machine-wash on a cold-cold delicate cycle. Hang-dry or machine-wash on delicate cycle. Available for the following sling types:

| The Splasher Solarveil has been discontinued by the manufacturer, and our stock of slings has sold out! We are in the process of looking for a replacement fabric. There are so many benefits to being able to sling your baby in water: You can bring your child into the pool to splash around with you (or just to become accustomed to the water at a young age), and you can shower with your baby. Hands-free showering or swimming means that you can use your hands to hold on to pool toys, soap, or shampoo, or simply to balance yourself and wade around, all while your child is held securely against you. ** NOTE: As the name suggests, this sling is for "splashing", or light water activity. Do not attempt to swim with your child in the sling. ** |

| Optional Add-on Features (OAOFs) These Optional Add-on Features allow you to customise your sling to get a look that's unique (so that maybe you won't bump into another parent in playgroup with the same sling!). Have fun, and try combining several OAOFs! ** Please allow up to 1 extra week for production of certain OAOFs. These are considered to be custom-made items, and are final sale, except in cases of defect. ** |

| BP: The Beaded Panel Price: Add $30 to the cost of the sling A more affordable option to our Jewelled Silk slings, this option adds a touch of elegance and beauty to your solid-coloured sling. We were the first sling-maker in 2003 to hand-bead onto slings, and we offer three popular designs: "Dragonflies", "Floral", and "Sprinkling" (a random sprinkle of beads on to the fabric surface). Every hand-beaded cxd baby sling that you see is custom-ordered, so you won't easily find duplicates around! We use glass and/or plastic beads, and choose colours to complement your sling colour. However, special requests may be taken. The beads are individually-knotted so that they won't come apart as a whole strand (for the added security of your child, who will surely be dazzled by, and want to touch, the beads). ** NOTE: This option is not available on reversible Pouch Slings and Mei Tais. If you really, really, ask nicely, we can do it for you, but only if you promise not to wear your sling on the reverse, so that the beads won't dig into your or your baby's skin. ** Available on these fabrics:

| CT: The Contrast Tail Price: Add $10 to the cost of the sling We came up with this design so that our customers could add a splash of colour to the tail of a solid-colour cotton sling. It's great for those of you who love a particular print, but don't necessarily want it all over. You can choose from current or past (sold-out!) collections of prints, so this is for all those customers who missed out on some of our fastest-selling prints. ** NOTE: This is not a sling pocket—we still stand by our statement that those things bang against knees and thighs! | EP: The Embroidered Panel Price: Add $10 to the cost of the sling Extremely popular since its launch in 2005 as "The Embroidered Panel Sling", this is yet another cxd baby innovation that is gets you noticed! There's so much room for your own customised look, with your choice of embroidery design, thread colour, and font (where applicable). You can even inquire about setting up your own design (set-up fee applies). Current embroidery designs are:

| RT: The Ribbon Trim Price: Add $10 to the cost of the sling Extremely popular since its launch in 2005 as "The Ribbon Sling", this option is fast becoming one of our best-sellers! Take a solid-coloured sling, and to the top rail, add a touch of colour, beauty, or whimsy, in the form of a grosgrain or jacquard ribbon. You can even choose to have a bow stitched on the top rail, to highlight your little bundle of joy inside! There are currently 20 ribbons of various sizes and colours to choose from, and our selection is constantly being updated. View currently available ribbons (PDF). |

| SLC: The Second Layer of Cotton Price: Add $20 to the cost of the sling Sometimes people want a lining for their Ring Sling, whether it's for just a splash of colour at the tail, or to make a light-weight fabric feel a bit more substantial. We've acquiesced to your requests, and are offering this Second Layer option, to line a solid-colour sling with a print, or vice versa. Mix and match different fabrics—the possibilities are endless! Available in these fabrics:

We've acquiesced to your requests, and are offering this Second Layer option, to line a solid-colour sling with a print, or vice versa. We can line a silk brocade or silk dupioni sling with a solid-coloured silk dupioni. We won't line a silk brocade with another silk brocade (too thick).
