Ring Slings
| Back in late 2001/early 2002, we believe that we were the first in Canada to openly associate the words "fashionable" and "stylish" with baby slings. We were trailblazers back then, and we've been innovating and changing the face of baby slings in Canada ever since. Others have been "inspired" to imitate various cxd baby features, such as our unique shoulder design, our hand-beaded panels, and our Mobile PocketTM. We admit that we don't make the cheapest slings out there, but we strive to make the best. So why settle for imitations, when you can get the original cxd baby sling! Features:
- Six basic positions, plus a variety of other uses!
- Carrying capability for newborns to toddlers (7 lbs/3 kg to 30 lbs/14 kg)
- Completely unpadded comfort in the shoulder and rails
- Simple adjustability with 2" or 2½” welded steel—not nylon or plastic—rings. They’re solid (will support a weight of up to 400 lbs., and will never break!), allow for smoother sliding of the fabric, and are just more aesthetically-pleasing than plastic or nylon.
- Sturdy and secure attachment of the rings at the shoulder, with our unique triple-stitched design. Our shoulder is a flat, wide design that moulds itself easily to shoulders of different widths, and allows for a good amount of adjustment width-wise, instead of being a narrow swath of fabric that stays put.
- A completely open tail, for use as a wipe, a panel for even more breastfeeding discretion, a cover against wind and rain, etc.
- Differential-colour stitching to help wearer visually separate the tail sides (and upper and lower rails) when adjusting the sling. Certain fabric or sling designs will already have differences in the rails.
- Packaging in an attractive drawstring bag in coordinating fabric. This added-value item gives you a little extra bag to store your sling, or a few diapers, small toys, crayons, books, etc, when you’re out and about. Can be handily attached to sling rings. (We were the first sling-maker to offer this freebie!)
